What is anime? 

Anime is Japanese animation. Anime is hand-drawn art, nowadays anime is usually drawn by 2D computer software. Many of them are romantic or fantasy, but there are also many SCI-FI or cyberpunk. Comics are still around but are expensive and somehow probably the least popular. The main drawback is price and availability. It is much easier and faster to get a movie or some TV series then get a specific book. Video games are either PC games or console games (Sony Playstation, Microsoft XBOX, Nintendo Wii , GameBoy etc.). PC games are developed especially by and for western countries so there are not many anime based games. In contrast, console games are the home of anime gaming. The best known saga is Final Fantasy. Many gamers hate this JRPG (junction role playing game), but people loves it. It is a simple RPG (more adventure though) in Japanese style with manga graphics. Short history of anime 

History of animated anime begins in Japan, in the beginning of the 20th century. The first anime clip is about a sword training of a samurai warrior.
